Google owns me now.

After being banned from AdWords and being put on work release my PPC campaigns have not been the same. I was not pushing out a lot of bad stuff (some maybe suspect). Almost all of what I promote I buy (problem?!). Slow and Second (Yahoo) is just that..slow and second.

I have been reading the comments of the Traffic Voodoo blog and some are thinking it is scammy. Believe me..I feel you. I get sucked in. I feel you. I just totally got screwed (not scammed..screwed) by..Chris Fox and one of his programs. Had to go to big daddy ClickBank and get some money back.

The pig is breaking me right at this moment. I thought the pig's ribs were tasty..little did I know I was the meal.

I am doing a big launch right now in Self Improvement.

The Cost Per Click is killing me! Big Daddy G is charging me .66 cents per click of a well known hootie hoo Self Improvement Guru..and..Slow and Second is charging me almost .75 cents! This is exact match people with a good CTR!

I am now hoping to get bailed out of this mistake by people buying into the launch. Hope! Sad! I am in too deep right now.

What Have I Seen so Far and What am I Promoting.

The great thing about doing/promoting what you love is the ton of emails. Email are totally tedious for me. I do not enjoy reading or writing emails..but..if you are doing what you love..it makes it a lot easier. I do love internet marketing.

Internet marketing is the Las Vegas of the internet. I love the people, promises, scams, disappointments, and victories. I get caught up in all of that.

What's New Captain Obvious (or just a new spin)?

Just One Trend for This Post: Mobile!

Big affiliate names getting in to mobile very quickly.

Wow, when I first saw Gauher Chaudhry's program for mobile I jumped on it. He was really the first legitimate affiliate I have seen with a mobile course (I am a Gauher honk- the guy delivers). Gauher is running MobiBlueprint (click here for the blog). There is a free presentation of the webinar that I attended.

The MobiBlueprint program had a webinar I think a few weeks ago. So, webinar..soft sell 100 spots..gone that night!

I have to admit that the speed really surprised me at how fast the spots were taken. Gauher even told people on the line that there was NO content for the course yet..just an outline! That shows me three things that I will always remember:

1. Trust is a huge thing (obvious)

Gauher did a soft launch with his list and his partners list. Gauher gave the outline in the webinar. That was it. It was a really great presentation and very very little selling was involved. People (his list) trust Gauher.

He has a really great sales pitch in an email about a month before that I want to point out. He asked his list to trust him..mobile was the next big thing. It was a flawless setup for rolling out the MobiBlueprint course:

If you trust him..step up..be congruent..buy the course

That is super good selling..and..he can back it up with results and the good will he has earned with his customers.

Don't burn your lists people! Save that goodwill and really make money when you recommend something.

2. If it is the right time for a product it is an easy sell (obvious)

Again, the speed of the sellout was a surprise..kinda. I have thought about mobile after leaving Google (them leaving me). There were no "legitimate" courses on how to start in mobile and just some junky stuff on ClickBank. The other speed that surprised me was that two other courses popped up within a few weeks. Two super legitimate courses.

3. If you are creating content..see if people are interested in it before you even start the program! (obvious)

Chaudhry is a tester. I have no doubt that if there was not enough interest that he would have not done the course.

In fact, I think he wishes that he would have made it 500 spots and charged more.

*Gauher Bonus Tip*

I will say this..he sent out an email the next day after the webinar that there were "Disappointed People in Europe and Asia " that were not able to attend the webinar because it was in the middle of the night and the course would be reopened for a short period.

European and Asian money pouring in?

I am just saying..it is a super good tip to remember..give yourself an out to put more people in your program. I am not saying that is what he did. Maybe that is what I would do..let's call it "code word: Disappointed people in Europe and Asia"..very hush hush..lol..

Money Loves Speed

Two mobile courses just launched in the blink of an eye..Howie Schwartz's Mobile Marketing Leadership and StomperMobile.

Money loves speed..that is from Joe Vitale. I totally believe that. You really have to move quick when that moment strikes. Everyone that promotes anything online knows that time. It just hits your customers and you do start getting a flood of traffic in something that maybe you did not see coming.

His reports are really really good. I have got a few ideas from his reports and I put one to work just a few days ago. My problem with Howie has always been too many reports. Again, how many digital trees have you cut down Howie?

But..complaining about getting too many money making ideas is really dumb. It really is just me trying to stay focused.

I like Howie because he can get a little gray hat on some things. I am not sure if it is that way with this course. Howie is gray hat today..and..tomorrow it becomes obvious and white hat. He is very ahead of the curve.
