PS..I was in the Marines once upon a time.

When I was a super boot at my first duty station in Okinawa we had all Vietnam Vets in charge. They were ALL as crazy as a "shit house rats" back at that time. We always feared, loved, and respected these men and women (mostly feared). They had seen things we could never imagine. Many of these vets were permanently damaged. My First Sergeant had killed one man with an E-Tool (shovel) in Vietnam. How would that change your outlook on life? How about your management style (LOL)?

What can I say.

You are part of me. You did not like me but you always protected me. I remember you now because of the few things you taught me. You were almost (almost) as crazy of a Vet that I had seen. This post is really about you. Your warning to be careful..someone is always watching..it always sticks with me.
